"Welcome to Switzerland Comrade Adamov"

Swiss Won't Give Russians Their Ex-Atomic Guy
USA Gets First Dibs

Former Russian atomic energy minister Yeugeny (pronounced U-Geenie) Adamov has been held in a Swiss slammer since early May. He was arrested by Swiss policia on a warrant issued by the United States for embezzling $9 million from funds that were earmarked to improve Russian nuclear (pronounced New-Clear) security. Russia issued its own warrant for Comrade Adamov two weeks after he was arrested hoping to get him back safe and sound to mother Russia. The Swiss government has said they will uphold the American warrant and ship Adamov westward to face charges probably in Pittsburgh. The Russian Foreign Ministry believes that the decision is unfair because Adamov may be forced to reveal classified nuclear info by blackmail or possibly torture.pravda Not to worry about the torture part.
