Chinee Flivver (A Car that Americans can afford)
GM Buick below (A hot item in China)

Chinese Will Export Cars To U.S. in 2008; General Motors Sells Half Million Cars in China Last Year??
Chinese Can Now Afford Cadillacs; Americans Reduced to Driving Chinee Flivver

A small Chinese auto-maker,"Geely" ,will start exporting cars to the United States in 2008. The five passenger automobile will sell for under $10,000 and is looking to serve low and middle-income Americans. Apparently the Buicks and Cadillacs that are being sold to the Chinese are being price-reduced to keep GM in pace with the Asian market. Cars being made in America are now being sold to the middle-income Chinese because middle-income Americans can't afford the sticker price. Now those same middle-income Americans will start buying cars they can afford that are made in China and exported to the U.S. Notwithstanding the large, gaping, gargantuan, really, really big trade deficit that already exists between the U.S. and China, this sounds like a real A-Hole move.
