Claims God Is Pissed(Enmity) at Israeli Leader for Giving Away Holy Land

The spiritual leader of the 700 Club and the religious right, Pat "no comprendo" Robertson has made an ass out of himself once again. He has advised the faithful that God struck down Ariel Sharon because of his policies of peace making with Palestine especially the withdrawl from the Gaza Strip. In recent weeks Mr. Robertson has called for the assassination of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, heavily supported the nomination of Harriet Miers and now is espousing the idea that God is gunning for Ariel Sharon. Pat better tread lightly or he just might queer the Sea of Galilee theme park deal that the Israeli Tourism Board and a consortium of Christian rightists are putting together.
